What is they feedin’ our kids?

Recently I posted this video of Taylor Mali and his poetry.  Since then, I have been discovering all sorts of new urban poetry that I really enjoy.  Though some contains language, both inappropriate at times and grammatically incorrect at others, many are well worth watching.  I specifically have been enjoying a program called “Russel Simmon’s Def Poetry Jam” where usually black artist get up in front of large crowds and recite memorized poetry that they have written telling of their experiences in the ghetto or just in life.  It helps understand the minority perspective in many ways that I, as a white man, cannot understand.  Here’s one video that is more comical than serious, but there are more to follow.
